Will be about the unique coastal air of the California Coast. This special 'Zoot Air' is the leitmotif, or unifying feature, of the 'Land of Zinfandel'.
Even when the air isn't foggy, the Pacific Ocean contributes a touch of moisture to the air that makes it more gentle than air inland. The extra moisture in the air allows the hallmark California Live Oak trees to thrive.
The site will also include a Zoop Index for fog. The index ranges from 0-no apparent fog, to 5-very dense fog. The Indian word for #5 is Pogonip. There is a park next to U.C. Santa Cruz called Pogonip.

| "Zoop" is closely related to another leitmotif, or central image, of the Calidocious project- Saxophones. The feelings that saxophone music can evoke are a good match for the "feel" of a foggy California morning.
The sound of a saxophone is rich, mellow, complex, sad yet touched with humour, delicate yet full of vitality, and fleeting.
